Eddy Current and IRIS Inspection for Chillers and Heat Exchangers
Qualitest Canada offers Eddy current and IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System) inspection for Chillers and Heat Exchangers worldwide. Our experienced inspectors are equipped with fully loaded gears and can provide accurate interpretation of data. Qualitest Inspectors perform this IRIS Inspection services throughout Canada including Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, Sarnia, Milton, St. Catharines, Ottawa, Brampton, London, Markham, Vaughan, Kitchener, Windsor, Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Richmond, Delta, Burnaby, Victoria, Kitimat, Dawson Creek, Kelowna, Kamloops, Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Peace River, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Regina and Saskatoon.
Eddy Current Testing
Our Advanced Eddy Current Testing (ET) includes tubing and array surface inspections, providing complete tube length inspection, detection and separation of inside and outside defects, and evaluation of defect depth. With eddy current array (ECA) testing, wider inspection areas can be covered than with conventional eddy current testing probes.
IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System)
IRIS is an ultrasonic method used for the non-destructive testing of tubes and pipes, and can detect corrosion, pitting, and wall loss. It is versatile and can be used on a wide range of tube diameters and wall thicknesses, and is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Our NDT inspectors have years of experience using IRIS and can provide you with an accurate assessment of the condition of your assets.
Qualitest Canada offers reliable Eddy current and IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System) inspection services for Onshore and offshore facilities globally. Our experienced inspectors use advanced tube inspection with IRIS technology to provide accurate data interpretation. We provide eddy current testing with various bobbin configurations for tubing inspections and specific channel multiplexing for array inspection, covering wider inspection areas than conventional eddy current testing probes. Our eddy current testing offers complete tube length inspection, inside and outside defect detection and separation, defect depth evaluation, and digital storage for EC-signals monitoring.
IRIS technology is a versatile ultrasonic method used for the non-destructive testing of tubes and pipes, commonly used for tube inspection in boilers, heat exchangers, air coolers, and feed water heaters. Our IRIS inspection can detect corrosion, pitting, and wall loss, providing accurate wall thickness measurements, sensitivity to internal and external defects, and locating defect position in relation to tube length. IRIS inspection is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials and can handle any size of tube inspection project within Canada and internationally.
Our NDT inspectors have years of experience using IRIS and they can provide you with an accurate assessment of the condition of your assets, ensuring Total Quality Assurance.
